There are some potential workarounds by changing the default behavior of your browser or extensions that can accomplish that, but using those can cause other problems; if you force links to open in the same browser tab, that can interfere with things like pop-up sign-in forms that expect to open in another window that closes once you sign in. Be careful with those.

Me too. I have no fix. Don't even mess with your browser settings, its a feebay thing. Your browser is fine.

Thanks for posting this! It's bugged me for a while, but I thought it was just me.
Why change the behavior of something that has been fine for 20 years when genuine glitches go unattended?
It falls under the well known category of "rearranging the deck chairs."
