eBay messages -- web site down??

This problem just started within the past 12 hours (as of January 6, 2025, 15:57 PST).  before then everything was working as normal.

Now however, whenever I try to go and read my pending eBay messages I am getting an error from my browser saying that the eBay messages web site is "not found".  Is this a known problem?  Is this a DNS problem?

I will try to restart my browser, but I am not hopeful.

Several links to messages - including top right of the page My eBay > Messages - are sending users to the defunct: https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0

eBay needs to update the link to the new page:

https://www.ebay.com/cnt/ViewMessage

You can access messages using the second link.
