I can't believe how much stuff I've bought from other websites recently due to how difficult it has become to navigate this site. No, it's not my browser, I installed 3 other browsers just to see, for a total of 4 browsers - Opera Touch, FF Focus, Puffin Lite and the standard Safari - and it does the same thing with all of them. This is a problem with eBay that started a couple months ago. Look, I get it, you guys think your fisher price looking mobile site is great - but I don't - and I can't see any reason why I should be forced to use it. I'm the one paying your bills, don't forget that.

Once you have loaded a page in desktop mode, links opened in a new browser tab will default to the mobile site version of the page, but if you open those same links in the same browser tab they should remain in desktop mode, I believe.
If that is not what is happening, it is possible that your eBay browser links are opening in the eBay app instead of the browser. It is possible that a new eBay app update two months ago is responsible for changing your default settings.
I ran into a similar problem with an Android device and had an extremely difficult time finding where the setting for that feature was actually hidden.
For iOS devices, try holding down an eBay link and you should see some options regarding whether such links open in the app or remain in the browser going forward.
