eBay issued credit card problems

I made the mistake of signing up for a eBay credit card.  They made it sound as though you could use it immediately and without restriction except for your credit limit.  Apparently, that was not correct.  Instead after speaking to half a dozen folks and a Help Line Bot.  The only thing you get is a 24 hour store pass.  My problem is the pass was never issued. I happened to need to make some purchases and the credit card gave me a little leeway to alleviate a cash flow issue.  By the time I got anything close to a correct answer I had bounced back and forth between eBay and Synchrony Bank who issues the card.  None of the Representatives had the correct information.  Two days later of calling I spoke to a upper management individual at Synchrony who told me if the card pass was not issued in the first 24 hours you would have to wait for the actual physical card to arrive. A very long discussion ensued and it was obvious nothing was going to happen.  No one can tell me the code to resend the pass could not be done by whomever, eBay or Synchrony. It's not a nuclear launch code!  At this point if enough people come forward with similar problems, I believe a class action suit could be filed.  No where on the application was it mentioned only a 24 hour pass would be issued or having to wait until the card arrived. It's time companies be made to stand behind their promise.  eBay even asked me upon approval if I wanted to make a purchase with the new card!  Let me know folks, I'll be happy to see if any hungry law offices want to pursue this if enough people come forward.

Your issue is with Syncrony  bank they issued the card to you.  The link below is FAQs regarding eBay Mastercard.
eBay Master Card.
I have never signed up for that card and probably never will.

Please reread my post.  No one is disputing who manages what.  It's the simple fact that no where is anything posted about a 24 hour pass.  Both sides eBay and Synchrony blamed the other.  Glad you didn't signup.  Now for those who have, please post your issues and we'll see if a class action law suit can be assembled.

I know Pay Pal does this and also has a Pay Pal credit card.

Pay Pal gives credit for purchases only on eBay without a credit card using just a number like a credit card but its not a physical credit card.

And then Pay Pal also has a credit card.

But I don't think any credit card will let you use it until it is mailed to you and you call back the credit card company saying you have it in your hands.

Actually quite the opposite. Most credit cards allow you to use them at least on the issuer's site.  Amazon does. Cabela's, Walmart, etc.. PayPal is a totally different setup. The main issue is the misleading statement by eBay saying you can use it immediately upon  approval if unrestricted as mine was.   The total circle jerk only to be told two different stories by management of eBay and Synchrony.
