A refund will not be sufficient for me to ever again buy from eBay.
There were several issues that failed on this delivery.
This needs to be escalated to the appropriate department for complaints.
Please forward to the appropriate persons.
Until eBay acknowledges the particular errors in this case, I will not buy eBay again.
1) eBay tracking number for UPS delivery, as showing on my Order information did not match UPS delivery address or name.
2) When I called UPS and gave them the tracking number given to me by eBay
1Z7712130350093381, UPS stated that the number did not match my address that does not match my name/address.
3) According to UPS, the recipient had a different name, was at a different address --not disclosed to me.
4) I cannot buy from eBay until this errors are acknowledged as resolved, because:
a) eBay given tracking number to me did not match UPS' tracking delivery to me.
b) eBay has not yet ACKNOWLEDGED what went wrong between bank debit transaction, buyer (my) name, my address and how it came to happen that eBay is showing me a tracking number that UPS has assingned to different recipient / address.
c) eBay needs to sort things out with UPS to find why did a tracking number given to me as eBay customer, did not match the
PAYMENT account data with
UPS records for the same tracking number
1Z7712130350093381, as well as it did not match the UPS records for
destination (delivery address).d) So, irrespective of the vendor's refund to me, I ended up paying for a product to which eBay assigned a tracking number that did not match
UPS delivery information.
e) eBay should NOT give me the cop-out, easy answer by blaming it to a UPS system failure. SOMEONE always must be RESPONSIBLE.
Whomsoever takes my money must be responsible about what and where the item bought is delivered, and to whom, or else this leads to corporate anarchy.
eBay gave me a Wrong Tracking number.
3) Until eBay assures me that they found what caused their error in giving me a wrong tracking number, I cannot buy from eBay again. The same could happen again.
4) I even received a text message on the delivery date, January 19th, indicating that the item was delivered to my door. When no such delivery ever arrived at my address, instead to a different person Name & Address, after I contacted UPS. When I called UPS, hoped that they would open a ticket about my complaint regarding
tracking number 1Z7712130350093381 which did not match my name and address, as according to eBay.
5) Before buying eBay again, I need to trust eBay gives me a correct tracking number that matches my bank account debit to my Name and Address for delivery, and to my telephone-text for arrival information with UPS tracking record data.
I have also followed up with the required webpages in reply to some eBay email links regarding this matter. Not blaming the eBay customer service employee, as the AI/email suggests. Rather, eBay's failure to assign anyone on upper tier problems resolution contacting me regarding the several issues on eBay's failure to deliver.
I expect someone at eBay to shed light on this matter and acknowledge every point where methods / systems --more than one-- failed in this order, before I can trust eBay again.
