I sold an item on eBay and an hour later it sold again to another buyer. What's up with eBay not marking it as SOLD???? Now I don't have an item to send to the second buyer. My funds are on hold being a new seller. I cannot seem to refund the second buyer the funds he paid. I will not be happy if I have to return funds from my own pocket to pay the return and have to wait for the hold to end before I am reimbursed the refund!!!!

Did you have the count at 2 available. Some of your listings show that 2 were available.

What item number are you asking about?
I see two items of yours that have recent sales, and they both had two sales each in the last two days. But both of them were listed with 3 available, so they are now showing 1 available after the 2 sales. If it was one of these, then you need to change the quantity available to zero ASAP.

I suggest working with the second buyer. Is there something similar you can send instead? That usually works.
What can you send to the second buyer that is almost the same? Maybe offer a better item to the second buyer on what is in stock. I am not really sure what these items are you sell...are they similar?
Working with the second buyer you'll be surprised what you can do. You also have to look at a negative feedback coming in. And getting a demerit for an out of stock item. You might lose some future profit trying to make the second buyer happy. And buyers can wait for a while before leaving that negative feedback.
I had that happen to me a year ago.
Usually as a new seller funds are on hold for 30+ days.
Doing a refund with no "available funds" means the refund will come out of your banking institution unless your funds are no longer on hold from eBay.
