When I try to open my drafts on my phone I get a message stating, " Complete your listing on a web browser to apply you business policies." It just starting doing that tonight.

I've seen a few people talking about this, but when I checked on the app just now I had no problem applying my business policies on the app.
What OS version are you using?
What version of the eBay app are you using?
Temporarily you can use a browser on your device to complete your draft and assign business policies, or you can opt out of policies entirely if you don't want to use them.
Manage and edit policies, or click the opt out link on the upper right on this page.
----------------
To file a tech report on the app:
1. Shake to report. Physically shake your device while the app is open and that will trigger the option for you to file a tech report or submit feedback on product features.
2. Anywhere you see the three dots or the ? you can tap on that to file a report. Screenshot below.

I was listing fine on my phone this morning. I went in to finish up drafts from my phone and that's the message I get when I tap on a draft. OS android and its the latest with latest ebay app version.
I don't want to opt out of business policies. Perhaps this will be resolved by tomorrow morning.

I have the same problem. I have draft listings. When I try and edit them in the app to add photos or make changes tonight, I get the error message telling me to complete my listing on a browser due to the business policies. (See the first post in this thread for the exact error message). The draft already contains valid business policies. The draft listings can't be edited at all through the app. I'm using the Android app v.6.203.0.2 (This is a new issue. I'm not a new user. I have thousands of listings).

OK this may be specific to Android as I'm on iOS and not seeing it. Follow the steps I provided above and shake to report the tech issue.

@wastingtime101 I was able to replicate on Android, just to confirm.
Since it seems like this just started happening yesterday, my guess is they may have mistakenly applied an update for the Android meant just for UK private sellers.
Private sellers in the UK are having their listings automatically switched over to mandatory use of Simple Delivery starting yesterday, and as part of that change, the UK policy page said that they would no longer be able to access business policies through the app and will have to use the web instead.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sellercentre/postage/simple-delivery
One might wonder why private accounts have access to business policies at all since they aren't business accounts but that's a whole other subject. 😂
eBay has been doing more recently to differentiate between each kind of account with the fee and payment structures obviously, but they've also been taking some features/tools and making them business account only so this may be an extension of that.
So it would seem either the update was applied incorrectly to accounts outside of the UK too or that eBay intends to eventually migrate business policies to web only for everyone in a phased roll out and UK private sellers are just the only ones who got a warning about it.
devon@ebay kyle@ebay elizabeth@ebay if you could please check with the team to see if this is an intended change or a technical issue, that would be much appreciated!

Good morning all. There is currently an ALERT15875 related to this issue. This will be added to the tech board, but please reach out to have yourself added to the ticket.
Thank you

elizabeth@ebay I noticed the note for that ticket number in the technical issues post says something about an ODR link. I think ODR means online dispute resolution, in which case that doesn't seem to apply here and if it's not that...well I'm probably not the only one confused about it. 😂
ODR link is not clickable for Business seller listings in eBay App Version 6.201.0 for iOS 18.4, App Version 6.202.0.3 Reference ID: ALERT15871
I'm sure that's just the description of the issue you are seeing in your internal systems about the alert but it might be worth adding some context that would help it get picked up by people searching for the exact message being shown in the app or related keywords that might be relevant to help them find that alert number and realize it's associated with this issue.
And I know it makes sense since this is an issue being driven by changes for the UK but the reference to Business seller might be confusing for those in the US who are experiencing this issue too.

Thank you for catching that @valueaddedresource! I have revised the ticket number and am adjusting it in the ticket board now

Go into your business policies and DELETE any unused business policies. I used a laptop to do that and I did have like 4 that were not used. Once i did that, the app listing worked without the error

@4urpc_collectables thanks! I tried that and it worked for me on the account that was seeing this issue as well - hopefully others will be able to use that as a work around.

That explains why I could not replicate it on iOS - my policies are all assigned to listings. It also explains why the impact wasn't big like I expected it to be as only sellers with excess / unassigned policies were affected.
The issue was fixed a couple hours ago so anybody that was waiting to list or make edits should be good to go.
