"Message" in eBay Website not show all conversation between I and seller.
Here I capture the display when I open eBay site and notification email from eBay.

What I see is a case in the resolution center that the seller talked you into closing .
once closed you can't open it again & this seller is aware of that & will more then likely never send you your item.
If you used PayPal then go there and log on , find your transaction and open an item not received case there if it has been under 180 days
Do not close it until your refunded . Also you must follow the case don't just open the case & ignore it .

My point is the problem of "My eBay: Messages"
1. Problem when I reply from notification email of eBay, sometime message not to to eBay website. (I don't see my reply at "My eBay: Messages"). I have to resend message from website.
2. Problem when I reply from website or android app or notification email, I open "My eBay: Messages" then found that it didn't show "all" conversation/messages between I and any seller.
3. The system send me notification email for all my activities/messages and messages' someone send to me. But when I open from website or android app or notification email, I it is not same data.

Only reply when you are logged in to ebay and using My Ebay messages.
Do not reply to emails because they may not be official ebay emails. If you suspect an email is not correct, forward it to spoof@ebay.com.
Change your ebay and paypal passwords.
Don't listen to what the seller is telling you.

File a claim through PayPal and get your money back.
