My ebay shipping agreement was cancelled and I am unable to create a new shipping billing agreement via the ebay platform. I spoke to a representative and was made aware that there is a technical issue on eBay's end and their technical team is working to resolve this. I've filed this issue last week and have yet to receive an update and eBay is unable to help at this moment. I am hoping making the news public to the eBay community will bring awareness to users who are also experiencing the same problem and expedite this issue to be resolved by the technical team.
The typical process to reinstate your ebay shipping billing agreement has been to print another shipping label. When you click Print a Label, there will be a prompt on the right hand corner where you can sign in with your paypal info and reinstate the agreement.
However, in my case, the agreement was cancelled on paypal's end but it is not reflecting the update on eBay's end. It is showing that my contract is not cancelled and won't allow me to reinstate it with a prompt. Hence, the eBay technical team needs to either fix this issue or update their issue.
If you are facing the same issue, call eBay and request that they escalate this issue to their technical team as they will pass you back and forth between paypal / ebay blaming each other for the error.
