change in My eBay display horrid

Do not like the new display (fonts, color, size, arrangement) of the My eBay/Summary page. Is there a way to get the older style back, and/or personalize or customize the page display? (and I don't mean subjects on the page, like watching/selling/etc.) I mean the fonts and display. The size is too large, there is way too much hideously bright white space, and much too bright blue. And most of all, there is tons of wasted space! Everything so spread out.

Why is [the banner] black?

No idea. Is that Chrome? Are you using any browser add-ons or plug-ins that might change your default color scheme, like "Dark Reader"? Are you using a specialty theme of any kind? Have you tried clearing your browser cache and eBay cookies? Have you tried using another browser to see if the problem appears there as well?

That top banner change to BLACK only happened to me on 11/4/20, so it must have been a slow roll out.

Cleared cookies and cache and didn't work.  Firefox, win 10.  Default settings. My eBay All Selling.

I think they "test" this stuff to see our reaction.  Don't like it.  Stop messing with the little stuff and figure out how to get us more sales instead!

I just noticed the black banner today on one of my computers -- but only when using Chrome. Other browsers have not changed.

I went into my Chrome settings and performed a reset, and now the ebay.com header is no longer black.

The exact steps were Settings: Appearance: Advanced: Restore settings to their original defaults.

"This will reset your startup page, new tab page, search engine, and pinned tabs. It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data like cookies. Your bookmarks, history and saved passwords will not be cleared."

Hey again. 

That link seemed to work for me, but today it's only showing 14 active and 2 ended, whereas I'm following 75 active about 50 ended.

Can you tell me a way to adjust that link you provided?

I really HATE the new display, it's so BRIGHT and such a lot of wasted space.

There seems to be a new problem with the "All Buying" page. I am seeing only 50 items instead of the almost 300 that I actually have on my Watch List.

Time to go back to the Watch List or Summary until "All Buying" works again:

There are browser extensions that allow you to override a site's color scheme, such as Dark Reader. These are primarily designed to provide comfortable night-time viewing by inverting color choices for background and text, but there might be other extensions that allow you to customize further.

Or you could use another page such as the old "All Lists" page to view items on your lists. Just note that there is a problem deleting Watch List items from that page (it no longer works). So you would need to use a different page to delete items, but at least you could more comfortably view those items.
