Do not like the new display (fonts, color, size, arrangement) of the My eBay/Summary page. Is there a way to get the older style back, and/or personalize or customize the page display? (and I don't mean subjects on the page, like watching/selling/etc.) I mean the fonts and display. The size is too large, there is way too much hideously bright white space, and much too bright blue. And most of all, there is tons of wasted space! Everything so spread out.

Help!

I do not think there is a way to customize your Summary page or go back to the old version.

You can use the zoom feature to change the text size. Using an ad blocker, you may be able to hide some of the page features that currently appear.

You may be able to find an old link to another page that provides much of the same information in a different format:

Thanks for this link, it will have to do, and is a VAST improvement over the new display. Really that new style is awful.

Yeah they are getting rid of My Ebay, they just aren't telling us they are. They just making it non functional. They want us to use Seller Flub instead which is absolutely HORRIBLE.

The My Ebay page and it's layout and links was one of the very few things on ebay that was useful and properly functional.

My understanding is that some selling features related to payments will only be available through Seller Hub, particularly for those on Managed Payments, which soon will be all sellers. If you plan on selling, becoming familiar with Seller Hub may be a good idea.

eBay has recently changed the Summary page, to make it look more like the Watch List page.

The My eBay landing page is user-selectable, so as long as you can find an old My eBay page that works for you, you should be able to use it, or at least be able to bookmark the page.

As a buyer, I have been using the old "All Lists" page as my landing page. eBay has not updated that page in over two years. Recently it has begun to have problems with deleting items, but otherwise it shows me all of my custom lists on one page, which I prefer.

Yeah ebay has never cared about it's customer base (neither buyer nor seller). They just force unnecessary changes onto their customers. Seller Flub is pathetic, has always been pathetic, and will always be an amateurish attempt at web design both in visual appeal and more importantly, functionality.

Do you mean the banner ad? Or something else?

Try holding down the shift key and refreshing the page.

I doubt that is an intentional change (and I do not see it); it might be the by-product of eBay changing something else, combined with whatever is in your cache or cookies to cause a problem for you. Try viewing the page in another browser; if it loads OK, try clearing cache or eBay cookies in your original browser.

eBay is a corporation like any other -- run by a board of directors beholden to stockholders. If they think that changing the page layout to yellow text on a plaid background will generate an increase in revenue above what it will actually cost to implement, then get ready for your new color scheme.

Or else figure out how to change your default settings to work around it.

when I used the link you provided for Buying, the format was more desirable but the items listed did not accurately reflect what was on “My Summary” page. Items that I had watched but had ended and I had already deleted were still listed. Items currently on My Summary list were not showing at all, and the sort function was...not functional. Set for “the left: ending soonest”, the items “ending soonest” are at the bottom of the list, or backwards.

Sigh.

And eBay profits and stock were down this morning while other online sites were UP!

Were you using the old "All Lists" page to delete items? I have encountered problems deleting from that page. Deleting those items from the "All Buying" page should work.

Which kinds of items? Watch List items? Orders? Or is there some other category that you do not see? Bidding and Offers sections should also appear, though you may have to scroll down to see them -- I believe that their position was customizable at one time, and I may have changed the default position on my page, so perhaps I am seeing a different layout than you are.

Thanks for your reply. (BTW, I apparently did not catch the auto correct misspelling.)

1. Your link took me to a “Watch List” display. I was surprised since some of the “ended” items that were showing had been deleted more than 24-72 hours ago.

2. The items not showing in the link “Watch list” were current items being watched in “My Summary” list. Where’s Waldo?

3. I tried changing the Sort preference to no effect.

4. I will try the other link you provided.

5. I would like to not feel technologically challenged trying to navigate a site that I shopped on for 18 years. I remember a time when businesses valued their customers.

My summary page format is gone (the drop down from my eBay)...contacted eBay today (10/30/2020) and was told by customer service rep Clarissa in selling to check back in 24 hours as they are updating. Fingers are crossed...I hope they are not changing the summary page...I like to see everything there on that page (Selling, Watching, etc.) Too many changes along with the soon to be break with Paypal .
