cant sign in to UK account

why is it that when I sign into my UK Ebay account it goes to USA in dollars and not GBP .

if I try to sign into UK  account it just gives me the (I am not a robot) page continually and cant sign in, but if I click on ebay logo it signs me in automatically to .com

Try using a different browser, preferably an up to date one with no add-ons or extensions.

Bookmark the UK eBay page and use that to sign in.
