cannot answer messages if some one ask a question

I cannot answer a question if some ask a question through ask the seller a question if they have not bought any thing if they are a customer I can but if they ask a question of my items I cannot answer them can any one help

What happens if you try to respond to a question from a non-buyer?

If the question you receive contains a request for you to text, the reason you may not be able to respond is that eBay may have removed the account, as it may be part of a scam designed to get your contact information, and ultimately send a phony payment message.
