cannot access payment

I tried buying an item today and when I went to pay, received an error:  

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://pay.ebay.com/rxo?" on this server.

I cleared cookies for ebay and logged off and then back on but no luck.   I recently upgraded my operating system to Mac Monterey 12.5 and wonder if that has anything to do with it?    Does anyone have a solution?  Thank you

Try another browser to rule out some particular browser issues.

"Access Denied" errors when trying to check out or pay usually indicate some sort of network error.

If you are using a VPN, try disabling it.

If you are using a custom firewall, that may be causing problems.

Try paying using your phone or laptop when not connected to your usual network wifi.
