This literally false and does not work and has never worked, so why is it still shown on the Site Preferences page? It does not remove the "Ask Seller a Question" option on any listing Page as claimed. I have verified this with a second account. I have a random person that I have never had a transaction with harassing me over the course of a month and there is no way to prevent them from contacting me. Yes, you can ignore and delete, but I shouldn't have to regularly delete and ignore some random nut when there should a functional option to block and report them.

As a matter of fact, we were testing this block feature just yesterday in another thread (here) and it worked as advertised. Is it possible that you mistyped the problem user ID when adding it to your Blocked Bidder List? (e.g. typed a lower-case L in place of a number 1, something like that?)
Note that blocking the user does not remove the Ask Seller a Question link from his view of your listing, but the system will refuse to send the message if he types out something and hits the Submit button, giving him a rejection message (quoted in that thread above) instead.
I have put your ID on my Blocked Bidder List, so please feel free to try contacting me through any of my listings from your @hughes_wave_machines account, and I'll let you know if I receive anything.

Message sent. Yes I’ve entered the name correctly and I even tested it with my second business account. It had no effect. It says it’s supposed to remove the contact link from your Q&A page, but I’m not sure what that is now that I think about it. I guess it’s not the Ask Seller a Question link on listings?

Well, I received a message from unlimited_storage all right, but the ID that I blocked above was hughes_wave_machines. That was the one I meant for you to try. I have now added unlimited_storage as well, so please have another go at it.
Yes, the contact link from my Q&A page (I'm not totally sure what that is, actually - I was thinking of my Feedback page) would be different from that shown in any item listing, but the blockade should (should) work on either link method, of course, or it's not much good.
EDIT: Okay, I just saw your latest post above. I'll let you know if I get anything further from you via messaging despite the block(s). The Weekly Chat is this afternoon, so if you do find a workaround that allows blocked users to contact the user who's blocked them, that would be a good time to report it.
