Why is eBay so hopelessly incompetent at keeping this website functioning properly?

I haven't written a single line of code since I graduated 5 years ago but I could do a better job of this after a fifth of whiskey and a bottle of painkillers. 

After this last site update Seller hub doesn't work at all on my end. Bulk shipping is gone. Pending payouts shows unavailable. Half the links I click are 404's. I can't change my default landing page. 

Anyone else having issues?

well code for witch browser and witch version. Multiple sites info stored on etc.  I am wondering how they even keep it going at times.

I suspect most are working from home due to the Covid issue.  That may be a problem also...

Main isue I have is it times out on searched lately. A very bad thing for the sellers....

When can you start?  Writing code again that is.  I can't do anything about the pain killers but I'll be happy to get you the whiskey.    Someone needs to do a better job at formatting this stuff.

Listing items in CCGs (collectable card games) is almost impossible right now. The site takes about 5 minutes trying to autosave before it will let the item post. It used to take 1 minute to list cards. It's almost unusable.

All the excuses eBay makes, and people make on behalf of eBay are amusing.  Somehow all of these other tech companies were able to figure out how to maintain their sites without constant problems.  Sure Facebook, Amazon, and Google are worth more than eBay.  The thing is they also have more going on than eBay.

Edit:  I am being unfair to eBay, those other companies mentioned weren't built off a foundation of mediocrity.

Every day for the last week ive had to resize my shipping labels. I dont have to do that on any other platform.

The fee increase is not going into site fixes like they claim though...

They (eBay) literally don't care.  I know many people who have been calling in about the same issues for years now.

Ebay, Adyen nor MP are "co signers" on any seller's bank account.  That is simply an inaccurate statement.

I doubt that is what the fee increase is or was intended for.  It is likely a way to help fund all the additional free insertion fees being extended to sellers.  And many sellers will be able to drop a level in their Stores because of the new fee structure.  So that is likely to save many sellers money each month which can help to offset the FVF increase.

All other websites out there are living by the acronym KISS - keep it simple stupid.  But eBay isn't!  What a bunch of dum-dums!  I hope eBay's investors look at this pile of horse poop and RUN.
