Why is Customer Service so hard to deal with ?

An Internet based Company that doesn't take e-mail ???????????? WTH!

No, instead we get a non-sensical flow chart of pre-picked problems that leads to a reference number (what for, no one ever asks for it) supposedly for when a CSR answers your phone call after being on hold for a half hour and then be greeted by someone who can't communicate in ENGLISH!!!!

Great system Ebay.

You can call eBay or contact them on Facebook.com/eBay or Twitter.com/AskeBay

For the social sites...Give only your userid and a description of the issue. Do not include any personal info. eBay will contact you though your email address or tell you how to contact them directly.

eBay is continually updating this site. Some advice given may have changed. Please reply to this thread, to let us know if this advice works for you. The links on the bottom of any eBay page can help you deal with most eBay issues. Contact eBay Customer Service on Facebook.com/eBay or Twitter.com/AskeBay

There are several large US-based CS call centers, but somewhere around 40% of residents of the US do not communicate in American-English and speak a language other than English in their homes.

Filipino (the only offshore CS center for eBay is located in The Phillippines) reps are taught English in public schools. Unfortunately, the US does not incorporate Spanish into the public education curriculum. Most "foreigners" are fluent in at least two languages.
