Why cant I delete old purchases from ebay.

I have gone to my purchases page and attempted to edit them but it's not working.

Your purchases are a record of what you have bought. Purchases can not be deleted or edited.

In some situations you may be able to temporarily hide a purchase from view, but a purchase cannot be removed entirely by a user.
