Did you mean:

Why are images on my eBay listing fine but Turbo fails to upload image?

OR even better, tells me my images must be 1600 pixels on one side when they're FINE for eBay?

At least it is telling you what the problem is - mine just says, "failure to load images"

Did you read through all the threads on the Tools & Apps board about this image problem people are having? Maybe there will be a clue in there if you haven't read them.

Read the message carefully. It is just a recommendation to be 1600 pixels on the longest side. It is not saying the pictures have to be 1600 pixels on the longest side.

eBay images can be from 500 to 1600 pixels.  For zoom and enlarge to work in the photo gallery, here is a copy of shipscripts post on what happens for different sizes of photos.

Post 2 in the above topic.

Zoom and supersize depend on the size of the original photo you upload to eBay.

If the longest side of your photo is:

  • under 500 pixels, eBay will reject the photo. A larger photo can be made too small if you crop with eBays editor.
  • under 640 pixels (500-639), neither supersize popup nor mouseover zoom is available. The static photo may be displayed as small as 300 pixels.
  • under 800 pixels (640-799), a supersize popup will be available, but there will be no mouseover zoom.
  • up to 1600 pixels (800-1600), both supersize and zoom will be available.
  • over 1600 pixels, eBay will shrink the master image to 1600 pixels and the above will apply.

Re: Why are images on my eBay listing fine but Turbo fails to upload image?

You need the latest version of Turbo Lister to fix the TL image uploading problem.  Here is the topic.

Read the topic carefully with more relevant posts at the end of the topic. I had no issue updating my TL to the latest version but I used the Run as Administrator trick for my Windows 10. You might have to download the latest version of TL. Read how one seller did that at the end of the topic. Remember to backup before trying to run TL update.
