When you want to send an offer to a seller, you can choose PayPal, but you cannot choose to pay with PayPal credit, which is a huge difference when you want to buy an expensive product.

Probably a result of no way to do a preauthorization hold on PayPal credit.
PayPal credit is an outlier in the financial system.

I think it's a somewhat important issue for the buyer of an expensive product. eBay promotes "No Interest if paid in full in 6 months with PayPal Credit," but it doesn't work if you send an offer to the seller.

Do they still? The easy payment plans I have been seeing on listings are not through PayPal credit.

It's been that way for a while... about 2 years ago I had to add an alternate payment source for offers.
They wouldn't accept my paypal account backed up by my paypal mastercard.

Yes, I can see it on any product higher than $149.

I am seeing Klarna featured on more listings. It is apparently being rolled out.
We may be in the period when PayPal credit is on its way out.

I used PayPal Credit for multiple purchases before, and it works great, but it's not possible to use it when you send an offer to a seller (when the seller accepts offers for that product).
