When Ebay fails to address Technical Issues

Apparently Ebay claims their message boards but it's obvious they don't. There are many Ebayers, buyers and sellers, weighing in on "no followed search emails" along with others posting about bookmarked searches not working. Ebay has a problem and is not dealing with it. Some people wrote they have called and were told the problem would be sent to the Technical department.

I ask one simple question; How hard would it be for Ebay to post a message at the top of their webpage that they are aware of the problem and dealing with it.

Currently I get 1 email each day telling me about some special discount, asking me to tell them about recent purchases, hottest trend, blah, blah, blah..............

Hey Ebay this is what's posted on the community page, so where are the staff members and experts?

About this Board

When you experience a technical issue on eBay, we want to know. This board is monitored by staff and experts from the Community.

Yahoo has no way for users to contact them and they implemented a community board, which is totally useless, will this be Ebay's future?  One way communication? For now we'll have to look elsewhere for what we need but that mainly helps buyers and not the sellers. Wake up Ebay.

Re: When Ebay fails to address Technical Issues

This one is not, this is from 2019, March

This software has more glitches than should be allowed.  Want to guess who's paying for those glitches, me.  4% subtract from my money, due to eBay's software.

I currently have 5 listing with the message to reply to buyer.   I reply to my clients, it's how I make a living.

Doesn't provide customer service - Check

On December 26, 2018, all my listings disappeared. eBay helped me by restoring my listings, but when they were restored, items that had sold, items that didn't sell in auctions, or items cancelled ALL came back when restored. Some had the wrong photos, some item had sold months prior. Each and every listing had to be reviewed. It tooks days.

Everything that was gone was marked SOLD.  Despite posting being marked SOLD on the item and I changed the price to $1.00, until I could get to each item - People were still purchasing items. I had to refund their funds and explain there was a problem.

I now have six defects against me.  Only three are actual returns.  Company could not provide the item, nor could I find another vendor, every client receive full refund.

One I allowed client to cancel way back in the Summer.

One return for a item that's not my inventory.

One item I found on my list, eBay didn't have it listed from when my inventory disappeared.

Large Defect Rate - Check

So there you go.  Stupid glitches in the software is costing me 4% extra on every item I sell because I'm now deemed "Below Standard" and not a single person will be a thing about it.  Why?  Because they don't have to.

You tell me who is operating Below Standards . . . It Ain't Me Babe!

Re: When Ebay fails to address Technical Issues

Yes, the original post was from 2017.  Another member posted today (3/10/19) re. similar concerns (i.e. eBay doesn't address Technical Issues properly).  This floated the thread to the top.  I replied to dif. post on the thread, to validate a point, and didn't even notice the post was from 2017.

Regardless .... different day, different yearsame problem.... eBay has way too many Technical Issues, doesn't know how to handle them well, and is not good at Customer Support.  Issues mentioned in this thread are still occurring, and many more.
