What's changed with Automated Offers?

I have this completely unhelpful notification that's showing up as of today sometime to review my automated offers because there's been a change.  You click the link and it literally just takes you to your offers.

It might be more helpful if you said what was changed about the policy and why?

What's changed with Automated Offers?

I agree that banner is incredibly unhelpful. eBay should have added actual info to tell us what changed.

As far as I can tell, the only change (aside from layout) is the new offer screen eliminated custom duration. You now have to choose between a fixed period of 7 days or up to 1 year. Previously we could enter custom duration as little as one day or as long as - I can't remember without looking it up, but I think 3 years?

The note to "verify your items are setup [sic] correctly" may be a way of telling sellers to turn off the custom duration and choose a fixed period instead @bcmike0_1 .

It looks like the Minimum Amount and Auto Accept fields have been swapped in all listings. It threw me off just now when making a new listing based on a copy.

Oh, I see, they've added an "end automation" option on the new offers page. They probably just want us to review it.

What's changed with Automated Offers?

Ah, thanks @wastingtime101 ! I always just set it to a year and never used Custom but I remember it being there.  I have been annoyed the last few days because it's making me pick the duration every time now where before it would default to 1 year. It seems like they may have fixed that in the last day though.

OK good to hear it's now working because that is a "sticky" setting so if it wasn't sticking, it was a bug that came with this update.

Thanks for starting this discussion.

This is so weird. I see that 'Custom' has been removed from the desktop eBay version but if I'm using my iOS app, 'Custom' is still there.  I'm running the latest version of the app from 6 days ago.

Sometimes these changes are rolled out in pieces. I expect the app will be updated in the near future. Just a few months ago when eBay added irregular package functionality, it took a few weeks for app to catch up to web updates.
