The little wheel/gear thing just keeps spinning around...occasionally the pic will finally show up, but by then a potential bidder has hit the back button -- It's been going on for days. Please fix, ebay...

Hello. I just spoke with Ebay and the issue is occurring due to Google. Google is moving to a new version which is more secure and Ebay is moving into that new platform. The shift is being made in steps and listings will experience problems until the bugs are ironed out. They feel that all should be back to normal over the next 3 days. I hope this information helps.

Three days would be far more believeable if this problem hadn't been around since 2012. That's a five year issue that has failed to be addressed, and every excuse has been given as to why it's not eBay's fault. Take responsibility eBay and fix the problem!
Annoy users enough and they'll protest with their feet. (i.e. people will stop using this site and go to other online selling sites instead.)

I have NO pictures for 1100 items on my sold page? I responded to a post on another thread, letting the seller know that all 77 of her items were not showing pics, only to get railed by another posting id who could see her pics, saying it eas my computer. yet I could click on some sellers items and see pics, and others I could not. I cleared my browser and cleaned my computer, now I can see nobodys pics including all my own items. this sucks! what the hell is going on? etsy is FINE!!

Thanks for the info, but you spoke to whom of eBay? CS?
How is this Google's fault?
I tried different browsers, Firefox is mostly affected, MSIE not so much though it also shows glitches when hoovering over images and what not. Underlying javascript crawls to a halt sometimes when loading pics, etc. This is true for eBay US, but also eBay UK, BE, FR, and possible more.
Also note that the Watch List has been showing excessive slow downs (to the point it halts) when loading images since MONTHS (any page with more than 50 items and JS times out, now it is any page with more than 25 items!).
Also note that lately more eye candy has been added to various pages, like the 'Make Payment' page and only yesterday they updated the look of the 'Leave Feedback' page (in both cases they made it LESS usable where the user needs to scroll extra up/down to access all the interface).
So, how is this Google's fault? In my book this has all the signs of VERY BAD JS programming, aka eBay's fault!
