What if you need customer support? As far as I can see ebay does not offer customer support.

I see no phone number to call for support, never mind the problem. The problem is with ebay itself. They don't offer support. I don't want to have anything to do with this site.  Why do people keep using it?

eBay has support--- scroll to the bottom of the page and find Help and Contact.  eBay has better support than some other sites.  I have found that if I send an email to the help center, they call me back.

Many problems on eBay, either for sellers or for buyers, can be resolved without making one single solitary phone call.

If you'd like to return here and give details of your issue, someone may be able to offer advice.

Ebay assumes that its buyers and sellers are literate in a language supported by the site and can read.

It assumes that they can determine whether a problem is a general business problem or a problem using Ebay's software. Ebay does not offer advice or support for general business problems.

It assumes they know the rules.

It provides help files, chat with customer service, and an ability to receive callbacks on the telephone for some problems and some Ebayers.

It does not waive rules or make exceptions to them to compensate for seller errors. 

It does not provide remedial education for sellers who have failed to learn or attempt to learn.

It attempts to follow all applicable laws. Many of those laws strike Ebay sellers as unfair.

     Any problems I've run into have been solved by reading and acting accordingly...............

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.
