Before when you clicked on a picture it would display the picture as large as if you would view it in preview on your windows computer. Now all the pictures are super shrunken with a big white bar and it is way worse. Anyone else notice this? You have to save the picture to your pc now to view it full size like before it was displayed.

What browser are you using? Try another to see if that makes any difference.
I have not noticed any recent changes using Firefox. As long as the picture resolution is high enough, I am able to use the mouse-over zoom or click on the picture to see an enlarged version of the image.
Checking your most recent listings, I can hover and zoom or see the enlarged image by clicking.

I'm using firefox. I tried using another firefox version on a different computer and it was the same.
Please click on any picture from a listing and save it to your pc. Open the picture and compare it the size to the ebay picture. Does the ebay pic look way smaller?

Pretty sure what's happening is now when you view pictures you see the thick white bar with the images in them which shrinkens every image but before the white bar could auto hide like autohide taskbar and you could view every picture full screen. Now the white bar and pictures don't autohide.

The size of the picture displayed by eBay in that view depends on many different factors such as the zoom level in your browser. eBay will attempt to show the entire picture (without scrolling) by default, I believe. So if your image is tall and thin, it may not display very large in that particular view.
Try right clicking on the enlarged image and open that image in another tab -- then you can click on the new image and see it full size without having to save it.

It is entirely possible that eBay has changed the way the other pics shown in the white bar are displayed, and that is now affecting the maximum size of the image shown in that view.
If you open the image in a new tab, you lose that white bar and you can manipulate the size of the image shown without affecting your other eBay pages.

"It is entirely possible that eBay has changed the way the other pics shown in the white bar are displayed, and that is now affecting the maximum size of the image shown in that view."
The white bar with all the pictures used to "autohide" and the individual pictures would view full screen automatically.
Now the white bar and all listing pictures take up half the screen almost.

I'm right clicking on pictures and don't see the option to open in new tab.
First, click on the small picture in the item listing to show the enlarged image, then right click on the enlarged image and you should be able to select "open image in a new tab". Here is how it looks for me in Firefox:
