What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

How about that new page that you're always brought back to and makes you have to click to get back to a usefull page you can work with, are we going backwards in time or what? Then what about the new Drafts page that every time I go to finish a draft it's been replaced with 20 copies of listings i already have listed? This is working out great, who is the mnumbskull who thinks these changes up? Why? things were just fine and now it's just more steps to get to the pages that are easier to work with. Tiny pictures and nothing usefull at all on the managament pages. Someones just getting paid at Bay for reason, just makes changes when there is nothing that needs to be changed but never fixes the old issues.

Re: What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

I hate that I have to click twice to go back to My Ebay.  The selling manager is a pain.  Like you said tiny pictures and it doesn't give  you anymore information than the old My Ebay page which I use all the time.  If it gave more information I might use it.  Like If I offer free shipping on items and then if you want to edit or revise an item it is cumbersome to click on the box and then scroll all the way to the top or bottom to hit edit.  The kids that are developing these pages, dont use them on a regular basis.  The constant extra clicking is a pain!

Re: What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

Well it looks like we're the only ones who feel this way I guess, I really find it hard to believe that others don't seem to see it as a step in the wrong direction. Just the loss of the pictures visibility was enough for me to not even bother with it let alone it goes off the screen and i have to scroll over just to see the rest of it. I have 4 - 22" monitors set up for use as 1 large monitor or 4 individual monitors and it will barely fit the pages at 100% if I use them all to show as 1 single page across a 45" screen.

plus ther's no way to change it so that things fit Plus they still aren't showing the entire title! If you're already making me scroll just to see the entire page might as well show the entire title so I know if there's something that's not showing that I may need to see to be able to be sure I'm clicking on the correct box that's now off the other side of the pages hidden from sight. Worst possible way to make a page I have ever seen on any site ever.

Who makes pages that don't fit at normal size? EBay is just trying find new ways to anger their sellers, as if they haven't invented enough as it was, now make it harder to work with on top of getting ripped off and paying more for less services. Restricting accounts while we pay for listings we can't even post, they are nailing their own coffin shut as far as I'm concerned they are walking on thin ice to me. I'm about to pack up and leave, I can't make any money here anymore. I've been very patient and put up with way too already, they just never seem to be able to tell when too much is too much?

I just read that the newest changes that will make us sellers stop selling here by the millions was based directly on what eBay feels the buyers want? What? The buyers want the sellers to pay more to sell their stuff? That makes no sense! What buyer would say that, and what buyers said they'd like to see some sellers who don't meet eBay's "Minimum Standards" (whatever they may be is a mystery to me since I can't find the definition anyplace on the internet) pay more for their seller fees, making it even harder to make sales and be able to improve ever.

They just don't understand that they have created a complete disconnect between the sellers and the buyers, sellers don't trust the buyers at all. Noted that almost every seller now says that every sale is considered to be a potential problem, not a way of making income but the first thought is how much will this cost me apposed to how much will I make.

Re: What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

Zinda,  I know your frustration.  I have been using eBay since it's inception and the changes have been very very tough on sellers.  Evertime I see there is a message my heart stops, praying that it isn't a buyer with a problem.

You are lucky to have 4 screens on your computer.  I've always wanted that.  But only have 2.  I have adjusted my zoom on some of my pages I view on my computer to be able to see more of a page or if the print is to small to go 120%, etc.  Ebay's selling pages are cumbersome.  I agree.  Having to scroll all the way to the bottom to see listing sales, or however you have your pages set up is frustrating.

Maybe go to my Fall Seller Update Wish List Thread to put in an idea to help sellers see more of their items or a format that would help sellers see more of their items, or maybe even another menu to help us sell.   http://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Fall-Seller-update-Wish-List/m-p/26923425#U26923425

But clicking to get back to your favoriate page after listing an item is frustrating to me since I like to use My eBay to view my items.  Selling Manager just is too much for me especially since I have to flip through pages to see all of my items.    What I do is use my back button on my browser to get back to my eBay and then hit refresh.  Silly that I have to do that.

@zinda2010 What do you mean by "management" page? Are you in the Seller Hub?

All my IDs just got dumped into the new "advanced listing tool" which is a total piece of bleep.

Re: What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

Yes, I wasn't sure exactly what to call it, I was in a blind rage after fighting with the entire page going into universal scroll just so I could see what was on the right side of the page but then wasn't sure if I was looking at the correct item since the image and title were now off the page on the left!

Who would actually plan to present a page like this? I would think that the first step is to start with a page that's going to be the size of most screen resolutions and plan around that before I even started to layout anything. This just seems to be out of control and has no thought at all in what they were doing. Then whoever approved of the mess (all involved) need to be looked at closer to figure out if they actually even did look at the page or just OK'd it and let it post as it was.

Sure, making up a web page for a huge entity like eBay is an accomplishment but when your page is simply unusable for 90% of the billions of people who will be attempting to use it, you have to wonder what will be next? You know that eBay is never done changing everything at all times, with very few real improvements geared towards the buying and selling experience, most changes are just made for the sake of change, no reason other than someone needs to keep their job and their dept needs to spend the funds allotted to them each quarter and have something to show for it or they will lose funding and cease to exist.

Re: What do you think about the new "managment" page that you're forced to return to

The good news is that some higher up tech just got back from a 7 week vacation. He thought the first thing he should do is go to the community and brag about how relaxing his vacation was and how he is refreshed. Maybe in a few months he will get around to looking over known issues and perhaps start to address them. I am sure all the buyers and sellers who have had nothing but problems the last 7 weeks are glad he had a good vacation right when ebay is making changes on to of changes not testing and not fixing issues with those changes.

Not to mention he took 7 weeks off from work And is bragging when most people buyers and sellers might be lucky if they can get 1 week per year. It just shows were ebays priorities are.
