What are the site issues today ebay?

Two stores, 62,000 items and only 4 sales in the last 5 hours. No offers, no emails from customers. Something major is going on for this does not happen even on my worst days. This is after about 9 sales in the 9am hour. I'm used to 60-100 a day sold...today I'm at 15.

I just remembered, Thursday night maintenance always messing the site up. The last 2 Fridays were my worst days in the last 60 days with a Saturday bounce back of almost $900. So we shall see if that pattern plays out again.

So far that Saturday bounce back is not happening James. Today is just as bad as yesterday and Thursday. WHAT DID THEY DO!? I am trying to hold on to hope that they are working on it and my sales will come back but 3 days? I don’t even think anyone works here anymore. This is getting scary.

Some people may be feeling heightened election related anxiety.

Some people may be feeling heightened anxiety due to bombing in the Middle East.

And that to the issues which a portion of the population feels relative to buying food, and paying their bills, and no special explanation is required for a bad day of sales, or even a bad week or month for some sellers.

I see a drop in views. Could be people are looking less. I am sure anyone can name a few more reasons that buyers might be looking less.

I got a UK and a Malta buyer...that's 2 of this Thursday and Friday....no USA buyers with free shipping.

I did get one USA sale today finally.

And then I got 2 Brazil buyers this week.

And there's no weather problems going on in the USA.

I usually get Florida, Texas and California sales but nothing...

Same here!  No Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday bounce back after the Thurs night eBay staff finagling for the past 2 wks.  The last 2  Fridays - Sundays have been the  worst since I joined eBay in 2006 (Kept records and l love graphs).  Something is weird.  Sales from yesterday & this afternoon : 10 from Canada, 2 from Japan, 5 Australia and 1 US.  I usually have 50 - 60 sales per day.   Is eBay closed on weekends 🙄?  It's nice to have a place where we can commiserate together but I'd rather have something better to post.

Yeah, my Saturday bounced back for the first half but been sitting at those numbers for like 5 hours now. Still have several site issues **shakes head**

 That's better than zero.  I had something weird happen: At 12:01 AM ( 10/27) , 22 sales came in all at once, all US.  Then at 1:30 AM another 15 came in all at once again. I forgot to silence my phone and this greatly disturbed the dog who was already sleeping😂.  I'm not complaining about the sales, but there's something going on after Thurs. night's machinations.  I have spoken to several sellers in a special sellers' group to which I belong --  same experience.  We're all just attributing it to a lack of transparency  and it being just another typical day on this site.  The other platforms where I sell, sales have increased quite a bit ( one of those sites has no selling fees and my prices are the same as here).  So I moved more merch and it all sold.   Let's hope for a good week ( all treats, no tricks).

This morning the listing page will not load, or when it finally does it is SLOW. We're talking it's taking minutes to load one photo that it may or may not lose. It is so frustrating. Seems like a good day to go work on my own store website. I'm all Ebay, but when do we call it? I know I can't continue when I can't even list. If I can't list my buyers can't shop. I can only recall one time on Amazon the site actually being "broken". Ebay should take note. Buyers are not patient, and without them, we are done.
