Hello, I just sold an item yesterday. I live in Georgia and I have a Bank of America checking account. I tried to put in my account number and routing numbers and Ebay says it doesn’t accept my bank. I made sure that all my information was correct like my name and double checked the routing and account numbers and I still got the same message. Right now it says that my money is on hold. What do I do? What banks does ebay accept?

Unfortunately sellers in Georgia are having problems with Bank of America. It has to do with routing numbers being blocked due to fraud and honest sellers are caught in the middle. eBay has said they are not able to provide a list of acceptable banks - it's not until a routing number is entered that the system can check. Of course that creates issues for sellers that don't know where they should or should not open a new bank account. Reports indicate there are also issues linking Chase and Wells Fargo accounts for Georgia residents.
I suggest reading the below discussion from this post onward as you may find it helpful to get through this @stefgonz-10.
One seller said they worked it out by opening "a simple free checking account with Truist," while another seller said Capital One worked for them.
Another seller said they could use BoA if they linked their debit card instead of their checking account.
Post 36 in that discussion by @shipscript offers some great reference links to banks in Georgia based on location.
