Is the category list at the top of the watch list section not wrapping correctly? If so, create a new ad blocking rule to suppress that.
Using Ad Block, I created the following rules that seem to work to suppress that category list once again:
www.ebay.com##UL[id="s0-0-33-0-6-m-carousel-list"][class="carousel__list"] www.ebay.com##UL[id="s0-0-33-1-m-containers[]_1-m-carousel-list"][class="carousel__list"]
Or use a different browser that does not have the problem to view your Summary or Watch List.

There have been numerous discussions regarding blocking the Category lists but the main confusion lies with the software extension being used. Here, I realize that Adblock and Adblock Plus are TWO different browser extensions. And while the latter does NOT work at all (not sure why?) as discussed here, the former actually does. That said, I need to find the older version of such extension to work with my older browser version (FF v52.9ESR in this case, where most current extensions versions now only support FF v63 or higher).
Now with Adblock running with the provided rules, here are my observations:
1. The Summary and Watchlist pages now take a bit longer to load;
2. The Watchlist page view finally becomes normal again;
3. The Summary page view is still a tad wider but nevertheless within manageable state.
That said, I don't know how long this temporary Adblock solution would last. And as mentioned earlier, even Adblock Plus does NOT work at all, even after adding the provided rules. More importantly though is for eB to actually realize some of us are stuck with older browser versions due mainly to having to continuously maintain (ie. use) older legacy operation systems where the latest allowable browser version is capped at a certain stage (ie. not updatable indefinitely), and thus to retain certain pages' legacy compatibility. Why the eB tech/admin doesn't listen to and understand customers' needs and demands (to achieve just that) is simply beyond everybody's understanding. Very disappointing and concerning indeed!!

Microsoft stopped providing official public support for Windows XP in 2014, and stopped providing patches in 2017.
Keeping XP machines up and running in 2022 is a fine and challenging hobby. And that is probably how you should view what you are doing.
Expecting eBay (or Firefox or Ad Block Plus) to provide tech support for your hobby project is likely to result in disappointment, in my opinion.
