Account not compatible? What?

When I try to add my bank info I get this message: 

The account type you have attempted to add is not compatible with managed payments. please enter details of a different account.

My bank works fine everywhere else. What is the problem? I've tried to accounts one I get that message and the other I get "Sorry something went wrong..." message.

You know it has to be linked to a CHECKING account, right?

I only have a debit card account that my direct deposit goes to.

Debit card won't work.

It has to be a checking account through a real bank to sign up for Managed Payments.
