I am having great difficulty in working on my Watch List. Starting about two weeks ago, most of the time I get the "Cannot complete this request now try again later." message in red font. I will reload five or six times and then, intermittently, I will be able to access the Watch List. But then, if I delete an item or two, the screen has a semi-opague gray overlay, then it freezes, so I reload and I get the error message again.
Having checked these Discussion Boards I see that others are having the same problem.
What I don't see is any solutions offered. Is this part of the recent eBay reconfiguration/upgrade and they are working on it? Or does anyone have anysuggestions on how to get back to a normally functioning watchlist?

As you noted, others have reported that Watch List is broken, intermittently, in recent weeks. Watch List is related to buyer Search, which has also been broken, intermittently, in recent weeks. Perhaps these issues are intertwined.

Thank you and thank Grilled. I can see now this is an ongoing problem for many of us. Our hope is that it will eventually get resolved....

I have had an issue with the watch list for several years, sometimes issues with deleting a watched item. I was constantly getting the message "we cannot complete your request at this time. Please try again later." Often would take as many as ten attempts to reload the page before being able to view a single page of the watch list.
Was inspired yesterday (wednesday) into trying something I had not thought of before. I deleted the entire watch list ( did not save anything) so it was completely empty. Basically purged it and started over with a new list. Twenty four hours later and not a single error! This after going to the web site probably ten different times on four different machines. For me this is unheard of for the past two or so years. Might be worth a try. Good luck- G
