Waiting 4 hours for a phone call with a 1 min wait time?

I've been waiting forever for someone from ebay to contact me. I am also trying to contact them in the chat. My wait time in the chat is 1 min also. But i've been waiting for someone in the chat for over an hour. Anyone have an idea of whats going on ???

I have still have not received my call for a 1 minute wait and it has been over 6 hours  This is the 2nd time I have not been contacted.

I've been waiting since yesterday.  I tried 3 more times yesterday & they kept telling they have already receive my request, but never got a call back.  I tried again today, but the same results.  I tried again using another phone number I have, & nothing.  After several phone calls today & yesterday, I still haven't gotten a call back.  Does anyone know what's going on?

Update:  They finally called me back after waiting several hours the second day.  She said they were behind.  I told her they need to tell people that instead of saying 1 or 2 minutes.

I called yesterday at 3pm, here its 8:30am the next day and no call back. I'm betting its all the sellers they put on MP this last month, can't have a million sellers put in MP and only a handful of reps to walk them thru the trash MP is

The time to call back is some computer thing and not real time..  Just saying.

Covid....I waited 4 hours on hold for Social Security and another 3 after the call was dropped.  Unfortunately,  we all need to be patient  right now. This is a hard time for most. Keep in mind that the person that you are going to speak with did not create the phone issues, they are just doing their jobs.

Things will hopefully change in the next bit.
