I have two accounts, one for selling and one for buying ; both long-existing.....
More recently, I have been getting messages pertaining to buying-account
activity, through the e-mail address associated with the selling account....
WHY might this be happening, and what is the cure...???
Thanks.

Are you having emails from one account forwarded into your inbox for the other account?
Are you accidentally purchasing items on your buying account?
Did you confirm your email address on your account settings page for both accounts?
Are the emails addressed to the wrong eBay ID?
I've never heard of eBay sending emails to the wrong account so the simplest first step is to look for something you may be overlooking.

Thanks very much for your input.....
The answer to all the potential issues you listed, is....no; nothing has changed/been changed, and I did confirm that ONLY the original/correct e-mail associated with the seller account (for over 20 years now)
shows in the Account info.
Still, the issue persists, yet....it is only SOME of the pertinent buyer-account-related messages that
come through via the seller-account address.... Guess I'll need to contact ebay.

Are you referring to messages from eBay, or messages from buyers or sellers?

I was speaking with the ebay cust-support person, and....in checking, find that the messages vary, some pertaining to shipping status, some item-no-longer-available, some make-an-offer.......i.e. all pertinent
to various BUYING considerations, on the OTHER/buying account......
Guess I'll need to contact Support, once again, and, again, ask that they have their Tech Support
find out just what is happening; something is just plain wrong here.
