After about 3 weeks of my Watch List Page been all messed up.. I finally got it to be normal by refreshing the page over & over again today. The messed up page shows up every once in a while but seems to be disappearing... Now.. however my Private Lists are missing with no way to access them as before from the Watch List Page.. However if I refresh the page about 100 times the messed up page will reappear with the List access drop-down menu back at the top... I book marked 1 of my lists hoping I can access the others from that... but who knows how long that will last... I don't know what is going on at Ebay but something like this always happens around this time of year... Really annoying!

Here are some alternate ways to reach your lists from a desktop browser:

The old "all lists" -- all your items in one list:

An alternate Watch List link that may work better for you:

If you are having difficulty reaching a particular custom list from a desktop browser, you can add an item to that list, and then from the item page, you should see a link at the top where it says "Saved on your LISTNAME list | Remove" -- the LISTNAME will be a link to that list. You can bookmark that link to reach the list more easily. If you have an item on multiple lists, you can reach each list from a drop-down on that item page where it says "Saved to 2 lists".

Using a mobile browser it is possible to use those links, but you must specifically request the "desktop site" any time you open a new browser tab.

It might be worth trying to view your Watch list page using another browser; if it looks OK in another browser, go back to your original browser and try clearing temporary internet files and deleting eBay cookies to see if that helps. Some tablet or iPhone users have previously complained that they were unable to see the drop-down with the lists on the Watch List page, I do not know if that is still a problem.

I am now having the same problem with no way of accessing my custom lists. This started yesterday with both of my accounts. I have to keep refreshing the page to get the watch list page back to normal to where it will have the drop down arrow to access my custom lists.

It is also not a browser problem. I use firefox but I did check to see if the problem would occur in google chrome and it does. It has to be on ebay's end.

The link with all of the lists combined, I can use it but I prefer the individual custom lists, as I have a lot of items. If I keep refreshing I can get the watch list to eventually display correctly where it has the drop down arrow to access the custom lists.

Also, another problem I am having which started yesterday too, is when I click on the next page in whatever list I am looking at, sometimes I have to click multiple times to get it to go to the next page of that list. And sometimes I also have to click multiple times to get it to change to a different list when I want to go from one list to the other.

Try bookmarking each custom list so you can avoid the Watch list entirely.

Use the technique of adding an item to one of your lists, and then using the link at the top of the item page to reach that list that I described above.

While I can do that, unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem where I have to click multiple times to advance from one list to the next or from page to page within a list. This is very frustrating to say the least.

I forgot that eBay has done away with the old versions of the lists -- previously if you used the link at the top of the item page to reach the list, it was an old "beta" version which looked more like the "all lists" link rather than the new Watch List page. The old versions were much more robust and quicker to load than the newer pages.

About the only suggestion I can add is to open each list, change the default items per page to 100, and then bookmark the page. If you do that for each of your lists you minimize the amount of page changing, assuming each link will load from the bookmark. If the newer style pages continue to give you problems, there is always the "all lists" link.

I contacted ebay by phone. They said the problem with the drop down arrow disappearing to where the custom lists couldn't be accessed was a known glitch and that they were working on it. I told them about the difficulty having to click multiple times to go from one list to the next or from page to page within a list and also the problems with deleting items. They had everything fixed by the next day with both of my accounts. The lady i spoke with did tell me though that ebay is releasing an update for the watch list sometime this month and that the update may not be compatible with windows 7, which I still use. So I will have to wait and see what happens when they release the update.
