Relisted 50 items. Less than a minute later they all had 1 to 10 views. Another bug in the life of eBay.

brian@ebay I kept track this time. When bulk relisting it's carrying over the number of views from the previous listing. This did not start until the last few days.
Hi @dtexley3, I'm happy to look into this. I've sent you an email asking for more details. Thanks!

Same here. Started about a week ago and it's happening on re-listed, sell similar and brand new listings as well. Hope the glitch is fixed soon!!

Same thing. I hit list and before the screen is able to finish loading I see I have 9 to 12 views, instantly. Does not matter if it is sell similar, a new listing or a relist.
What worries me is then I seem to see NO additional views. 😞

I relisted a coin for a price I knew no one would be interested in for twice the amount the coin was worth, had 10 views instantly! A new tactic from the brilliant minds at ebay to make us feel better even if items aren't selling!

It's now April 24th here on the East Coast, and all that has been mentioned previously, is still happening this afternoon, at least in my recent experience. Are we fools for wasting our time on this board? If nothing changes, I'm afraid we are. I'm blown away by the number of problems that buyer and sellers are having on Ebay. This tells me that Ebay can't handle all their changes that they keep initiating. They are out of control to put it mildly.

Sad to say this is definitely a recurring issue. I had called over a week ago and spoke with a representative and the problem was fixed for me but now it is back. I hope it will be finally be resolved soon.

I've seen this too. Brand new listings immediately showing between 4-10 views. I've been a seller here for years and this is the first time I've seen this. Coincidentally, this is happening after sellers have shown HUGE DISSATISFACTION with the new GTC policy. I think Ebay is putting in these "views" artificially, to make us feel better. Meanwhile, our sales have tanked. I had been selling about 1 or 2 things every day. Now, the 24th of the month, I've sold only 15 items.

Follow up to my original gripe. Seems like my view counts are back to normal. Just listed a few pieces, checked and some of them have zero views. So it could be that the view count was addressed OR moderators saw my complaint and decided to "teach me a lesson". Also with the low view count, a drastic drop in sales LMAO. Oh well, Im not gonna stop accusing ebay of their manipulation, and greed. My ebay invoices are the highest theyve ever been with lower sales, its an unsustainable model, i'll ride it for whats left of its worth, and happily usher in the next platform that is a bit more fair.

I'm from the East Coast, moved to Silicon Valley for work and lived near eBay Headquarters (watched it being built). I joined in 2010 and had a lot of fun and some frustration for 9 years ..... until Feb. of 2019, when all I started having was frustration and one bad experience after another.
eBay doesn't appear to understand it's Customers or have any real empathy for us. If they did there wouldn't be so many problems and they would listen to us. I stopped buying last month and the only purchase I might make (which may be my last, unless things change) is the ~ $12 in eBay Bucks in my account.
Sadly I have hundreds of things I was hoping to sell on eBay in preparation for a move to Hawaii. With all the problems I see Sellers are having, why would I want to inflict that much stress on my life.

4/25 Just relisted 4 items to see and 3 of the 4 instantly had views. So, still not fixed.

Yep. Just tried the same and got similar results. I also called and spoke with another eBay representative. The person could not understand what I was trying to explain was happening. The person thought it was perfectly normal to be happening with so many viewers out there. Hah!
