Views and Watchers

I have items is both Buy It Now and Auctions .  My Auction items have VIEWS that are deleted during the time when they are on for just 7 days.  WHY?  I can understand that WATCHERS can change their mind and remove themselves BUT  VIEWS should not be deleted even if it is the same person.  A View is a view so leave them alone.

As  to the Buy It Now items, I am having the same issue but I can understand that there may be a time limit because they are on for 30 days and will renewed.  But when renewed the View numbers sometimes have there Views numbers copied from the previous time.  

Would really appreciate your information.

It has been posted that some "views" are the "bot views" that did not get caught as "bot views" when they happened, but are later removed.

As to fact or fiction................... it's beyond my ken.

Thanks for your help.  I just came across another item that Ebay's computer program has failed.  Today is Sunday and I got a package ready to mail on Monday and that it what the description gave me when I was getting the label.  Then the label said it will be shipped on Tuesday.  Then on the "Orders" site, it shows it being shipping today, Sunday.  What is the receiver to know.
