Going on one month with View Counter Not Working. At this point, either it is a massive tech and/or virus failure that eBay is not owning up to, or, it is deliberately imposed. Why? A kind of psychological test? Does anyone remember nearly a decade ago when eBay was experimenting with providing all sellers with free monthly listings? They tried many plans from offering only auctions to only fixed to free only in certain categories, etc. One of the multitude of plans they tried out was to offer everyone free listings only that started at 99 cents. At that point sellers had become accustomed to having quite a number of free monthly listings. Rather than have entire inventories and listings lost, sellers across the board changed their listings all to "99 cents" but made the difference by charging shipping fees equal to the actual cost of the item. So, a $200 dress became "99 cents" with a $199 shipping fee. I am wondering whether eBay has imposed this non-working View Counter situation for some far-out psychological test to see which sellers put up with it and for how long.
