Very slow in selling listing page

The past 2 days it's taking forever to list an item because the eBay site is very slow it freezes at every line that I enter. I already reboot my laptop, checked other sites and they running fine.

Thanks

Try another browser, particularly if you are using Chrome.

If you have the option to switch to the new listing tool, or if you can use the eBay app to list, try either of those.

You need to better understand the owner of "ebay". He became rich and now he wants to take a break from all this mess. Hew does this intentionally.  No sane business who wants to grow would do this unless there is a reason for this. The reason is - you're not welcome, go somewhere else! Time to leave (everyone) to another venue and let the rich guy relax until he runs out of money.

Yep the board and execs are as crooked as the previous CEO that was stalking and threatening legitimate reports who reported fairly and honestly... Guess he did something right because the board gave him a 57 million dollar bonus to leave quietly!

The take away point is- Ebay uses our wallets to line theirs with ill gotten gains and bonusses for a site that performs consistently FAR below industry standard

We need to realize that if Ebay is not even willing to invest in Ebay- Why should we?........ Its time to start taking our great products to other platforms and help them to grow- it is the only voice we as sellers have here at ebay

Very slow in selling listing page

I have the same problem I have been using Firefox and just about every line a message window pops up "The page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser stop this page." When I wait for Firefox to catch up I wait for a minute or two. If I stop the page than I have to start over. Then every step the same thing. I get that message at least 5 times when list a new item. The prior listing manager I used to post my listing in about 2 to 3 minutes maximum, no problems, no issues. Now each listing takes me at least 5 minutes if lucky. Usually 10 minutes per listing using a pre-filled draft. LOL.

And when you try to enter the information line by line for search purposes the info you type disappears every time causing me to enter the information again. This happens every time. Again totally counter productive and not efficient. Who was the HAMMER HEAD (I am trying to be nice) working for eBay who designed this unacceptable new listing page?

This new eBay listing manager is totally counter productive. I have tried on different browsers such as Chrome and Edge and same thing.

I have tried defragment, I have tried disc clean up tool, I have tried updating. I ran a complete Norton system scan, I have tried clear cache and clear data... NOTHING WORKS. I am running and Asus MoBo with 32GB ddr4 high speed ram, AMD 4 Core 4.40 GHz, with a 2GB Radeon super long graphics card, the one that needs the separate power supply plug. So, I do not have a weak desktop...

And this only happens when listing an item on eBay. Otherwise do not have any other problems on my PC. Does any of these problems sound familiar to anyone else listing on eBay? Has anyone tried and succeeded with any special tricks to make listing faster and more enjoyable on eBay?

Do you have similar issues if you use a different browser?

Good to know this is still a unfixed issue over a year later.

I unfortunately do not have a fix but I am suffering from the same issue, hopefully someone looks into this because listing items has become a chore where I am sitting waiting for the page to load half of the time I am listing the item.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have 1000mb upload/download speeds. I have a super computer lol, etc. Something is up with eBay.. maybe updates or Christmas traffic affecting site. I hope they fix it because I could only list 25% of my products in the last 4 weeks.

I have to use firefox and the ebay site is over-taxing the processor.

Thus the incredible slow loading on 'create a listing' pages but -

NOT on other pages like 'shipping' or 'promotions'.

Hope that gives the IT guys a clue....

It took me 15 minutes to do a 'sell similar' yesterday, and I still have to save it as a draft to return to it and finish it.

Same here.   Spent 90 minutes last night trying to list 20 items using sell similar - finally gave up with only half of them listed.  Great way to start 2023.

It's 1-29-23 and I'm having the most horrible time with the "sell similar" function. Why is ebay unusable?

What browser are you using? Is it the latest version?

Any difference if you use another browser?

Any difference if you enable/disable ad blockers or other add-ons?

Any difference if you start an entirely new listing as opposed to using "sell similar" or if you use a different listing to start from?
