Variation Listing Price Details during Sale Event

We currently have a sale event going on and we have mostly variation listings. The "Price details" on desktop browser always shows the lowest priced item instead of the currently selected item. The price details displays correctly on the iPhone app and mobile browser.

Cannot see anything for sale from you so hard to say, but....

Items in 'variations' are not suppose to have 'different prices'...or if they do, very slight (less than 10%). 

They were/are designed for things like "T-shirts" where you can get it in different Colors and Sizes, all for the same price (or couple bucks difference as an XXL might be)

Example: Variation for $1000 IPhone shows $5 because someone is also listing 'protective covers' for the phone. $5 vs $1000 not allowed (as example)

Sorry for not providing an example. I tested this across other sellers that currently have a sales event on variation listings to make sure it wasn't happening to just us. Here is an example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/391625307447.
