Which browser are you using? In desktop, mobile or classic mode?
Any difference if you try a different browser or mode?
It is possible that there is an odd interaction between your browser settings and eBay's recent change to search results opening in a new browser tab. Perhaps your browser is set to automatically open your bookmarks page when opening a new tab and this is overriding eBay's search result link.
Try going to your search results customization menu -- found at the top of the search results where you can switch between list or gallery view. From the customization menu there is an option to open search results in a new browser tab or the same tab. Try changing that setting and applying it to see if anything changes.
