Unsubscribed from a group and still getting notifications

I tried to unsubscribe from a group here on the community boards. I am still getting notifications of new posts in the group. What am I missing? Thank you.

how long has it been since you unsubscribed?    May take more than a couple of hrs to go into effect.

Did you unsubscribe from the group topic, or just leave the group?

If you have replied to a group topic, you may still be subscribed to that topic even if you have left the group. Find that topic in your subscriptions, re-join the group, unsubscribe from the topic(s), and then leave the group.
