Unable to send offer to people watching my items

Hi,

I seem to have this option disabled or missing form my account?

I am fairly new to eBay and have not used this feature before however after a conversation with a potential customer I found I was unable to make an offer.

I can see in some other posts there seems to be a bug with this - could I get some help with it please?

You can read all about offers here. In the future you may want to post on the .co.uk discussion board for questions like this @mibu-8246 as this is the .com forum. Sometimes the way features like this work are different on the respective sites.

In addition to @wastingtime101 's very helpful reply.  Please understand that participating in this forum doesn't link you to any eBay staff.  We're just other sellers/buyers attempting to help one another.  For account specific problems contact eBay directly.  You can also use the Ebay for Business FB page.  Send a private message there.  They are very helpful.

Cheers for the input - from what I can tell the auction did not allow me to make an offer to a watcher i had been in conversation with due to the item not being in there basket for at least 2 days.

A little weird to have a rule like that imo but there we have it I guess - thanks again for the advice 😃

You can't see what is in a buyer's cart so how could you send an offer?  If they are watching it,  you should be able to send an offer if you want.  There is no length of time for the listing to eligible for an offer.  I have send offers as soon as I've listed an item. 

HOWEVER, the last two days I have been unable to send offers to anyone.  Anyone know what's going oN?
