Unable to send invoice

So I have a repeat customer who is international. I gather up his purchases until it is near the desired shipping weight, and we settle up. Sometimes this takes a week, mayber more.

So he wants 24 items. I go to send invoice. Cant. Contact C/S. Find out I was AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in eBays new shipping program, (which I want NOTHING TO DO WITH!) and finally figure out how to opt out. I am told it takes 24-48 hours for the change to take effect. 48 hours later, still not fixed. Chat with C/S. Now its a technical issue.

Guys...programmers......PLEASE PLEASE beta test the changes before you roll them out.  You currently have 30+ issues, plus this one to get straight.

72 Hours later....still cant send invoice. Now I am fortunate. I have dealt with the buyer in the past. But if this was a new buyer, they will not believe me when I say its an eBay issue. This could be taken as a direct reflection of MY customer service. Huh...go figure

Since this is 100% eBays fault, and it is a returning customer, I think I personally would send an invoice thru other means.... (Not saying you should do that, just what I would do in this particular circumstance).

I have certainly thought that. But in all honesty, rather than a work around as many of us have figured out in the past for the many other glitches, maybe the staff of some of these improvements would give it some type of thinking before implementing. I dont know...maybe ASK the sellers if they want to enroll? Ok..Im dreaming

There is a limit to how many items can be invoiced together. IIRC, the limit is 20. Try sending an invoice for 20 items.
