Unable to add combinations for listings, like size

For almost 5 days now, it will not let me add  a new combinations (like adding 3xl when all the other sizes are already there) to my listings, it does it, but when I click on revise at the end, it just sends me back to the original revise screen, not completed

Is the item on sale @boun_72 ? I discovered about a month ago (link) that I can no longer add new variations when the listing is part of a markdown sale. I had to end the markdown to revise the listing. It's a really annoying change - don't know if it's an intentional change by eBay or some kind of glitch.
