Unable to access app, Technical difficulties, please try again later error message

Hi all

Its been 3 days now that i have not been able to access the ebay app on my oneplus 12.

Issus:

When you try to sign in, it comes up with the following error message

"Technical difficulties, please try again later"

The home screen on the app, also has an exclamation mark in grey.

It's been 3 days now, i have raised it with ebay, but they have not got back to me.

What i have tried already so far:

Making sure both phone and app firmware is uptodate 

Deleting app, cache etc

Deleting/re-installing app 

Ebay works ok on other phones, my phones web browser, just not the ebay app itself.

No idea what to do now.

What operating system version number?

If your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app and you cannot update your operating system or use a previous version that is still supported, it should still be possible to use a mobile browser to go to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and use eBay that way.

If eBay browser links are opening in the app automatically, iOS users should be able to tap and hold an eBay browser link and select "don't open in the app" to prevent that from happening. Android users need to go to the device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Open supported links and select "don't open in the app".
