Unable to Submit an Offer

Hello,

I have been unable to submit an offer for 5 days now. I can send a message and counter offers sent to me, but here is the error I get:

"We are unable to send your message at this time.{e78062-1139572x}"

There are no disputes on my account and no issues. Please help!

I am having the same issue on  eBay item number:385211904507 after making 1 offer.

Get no option to make an offer or any information / error codes as to why its blocked.

eBAY istn't testing its software very well after modifications!

It something going on with the site, as a seller I have been having issues trying to accept some offers over the last several days and have had regular customers reach out to me saying it will not let them submit offers.

I have the same problem. For days now I’ve been trying to make an offer and all I see is a circle that keeps going round. Bummer

Are you using Adblocker Ultimate? Some users with that ad blocker indicated problems bidding or making offers until that add-on was uninstalled.

If that is not the problem, perhaps there is another add-on causing issues. Try temporarily disabling add-ons to see if that makes any difference.

In the mean time, try making offers using the eBay app or the browser on your phone.

Yes, I have customers reach out about this issue again. Been about 5 days now I have noticed the problem

For over a month now I have not been able to Make Offers. I have called eBay 5 times, once getting to a supervisor who told me they did not know what was wrong. When I click on Make Offer a box opens with an X in the top right corner and a spinning circle in the middle. It never loads the box. This happens on 2 different internet providers (Home & my Store) and on 2 different browsers, Firefox & Chrome. (I have even tried incognito & Private) (I do not surf on my phone as I am in front of a PC at work and at home)
I make a lot of offers every month and have great success working out prices with sellers.
I am getting very frustrated . . .

Same, contacted customer service 3 times and still not fixed, 3 weeks so far I can’t make an offer

Hi Velvet,

Thanks for setting out the rules that ebay intend to apply but unfortunately it doesn't work like that (at least in your android app right now).

"You already have an active offer on the item. Another offer can't be made on that item until the seller responds to the first offer or until the offer expires."

^This is the bit that is broken and needs to be fixed asap. You should initially have 3 offers. If you make your first offer and the seller lets it expire then the app gives you no option to make subsequent offers at all.

Try using the ebay app.  I was unable to make offers.  I would get the pop up that described the "new features...including adding payment method...etc..." with an "X" in the top right that when clicked the entire pop up disappeared.

After downloading the app... the same pop up appears however it now has the offer tab behind it.  So when I tap "X"...the "New Fearures..." card disappears leaving the offer form/card

There shouldn't be a maximum! Perhaps the potential buyer is busy for whatever reason. eBay is lame!

Hi,

I have a loosely connected issue. I am a new user opening a account specifically to purchase an item. I have spoken with the seller via messages and have negotiated a price that both are happy with. We have agreed that I should use the offer function on the item to submit my offer, after which the seller will accept allowing me to purchase the item..

Each time I submit my offer eBay state that they require more information. I click ok but the link takes me nowhere. I have provided address details plus bank details.. 

I will loose this item if I cannot correct this.. Can someone please advise, I don't understand why eBay is trying to create friction.. it makes no sense to me.

I'm having this problem too both in Chrome and in the eBay app. Multiple vendors but I have only made 2 or 3 offers, so I'm pretty sure it's not because I've made too many. 

I suspect it's because some vendors have disabled the ability to contact them directly, but after all this time isn't there anyone at eBay smart enough to disable the [Make Offer] button if that feature is not available (for whatever reason)???

It’s a joke I’ve got an item for sale with a make an offer option people can’t make an offer because there is a problem with eBay I also can’t make offers on other items reported to eBay with no joy just told someone will look into this within 48 hours my item only had 24 hours left to run
