Does anyone know where I can check if and when eBay will ever fix this problem.
I have about a dozen late shipping orders in my seller dashboard. Ebay won't remove them even though I have printed receipts from the post office proving the packages were dropped off and the scan form scanned within my handling time.
I stopped using the scan forms last month when a buyer left negative feedback because the tracking showed the first scan occurred 6 days after I dropped the package off at the post office. Ebay should be making it easier to sell rather than having sellers waste time waiting for each package to be individually scanned.

so are the tracking #'s entered into the sales and what do the tracking #'s show?

Hi @georgek809, while there is no option to remove these late shipments at this time, if they do impact your rating we can review the documentation you have to manually adjust your account status as needed.
As for this not updating in our system properly, I encourage you to work with your local Post Office to confirm that the correct steps are being taken on their end. We update our system with the information that USPS provides and any issues with your local branch can be reviewed as needed, just give us an update on how that conversation goes so we can investigate further.

I know that if I lose my TRS or get a negative feedback because of this problem eBay may or may not manually adjust my account. I'm not willing to risk my business on that possibility. But more importantly it appears to my buyers from the online tracking that I'm waiting several days to actually ship orders.
I have talked with my local postmaster several times. Their response is they don't know why it's happening but there is nothing they can do about it. They do scan the SCAN form and it does print a paper receipt. The problem appears to be intermittent so I think they are doing it correctly. Please let me know if they should be doing something else after they scan the form. This problem has been going on for over a year. I have reported the problem to eBay several times and their solution was to penalize me by increasing my shipping times. The problem is either with eBay when the SCAN form is created or with the post office when the form is scanned. Ebay is in a much better position to get someone to investigate the problem than I am.
All I want is to know when this problem gets fixed (if ever) so that I can start using SCAN forms again.
Thanks.

I'm guessing the problem is at your local post office.
I ship from 3 different post offices, depending on what I am doing that day, always using the SCAN form, even for 1 package, and my tracking uploaded on time & validated is 95.65% (I think I shipped 1 package late).

I don't think so. I've been using SCAN forms at this post office for years. There are only 3 people that work there so they know the routine. After they scan the form it prints a paper receipt with the SCAN form number on it. From my data this problem only occurs about 1% of the time.
