Trust this device option not offered on sign in

Signed in to eBay's US Site with username / password, with 2 step verification off.  Option to trust this device was never shown.

This in the latest extended stable version of Edge and Chrome browsers running on Windows 10.  (NOT in the eBay app.)  Used Incognito windows so there were no prior cookies; 3rd party cookies of course disabled.

BTW I did receive the "A new device is using your account" emails.

I am thinking that the "Trust this device" option has been removed from ALL in-browser sign-in screens, and nowadays is only offered to sign-ins on the eBay mobile apps.

Can someone confirm?
