Tracking

I printed labels from eBay and system dont up load the tracking info and show not shipped ... anyone same thing ?

Yeah I have had that happen to 3 out of 5 of my items today so far.  I print my own labels but they are showing up as unable to update shipping status at this time.  If I go to USPS it shows the tracking.

I am using the Android app. I print with my phone. I pay and print the label like I do all the time, than the item still shows need to ship. I had to mark it shipped and manually upload the tracking. This has been going on for several day

As a work around let your customers know that they can view their tracking information on their paypal accounts.  At least I THINK they should still be able to, not sure how bad this glitch is.  

 

If you're using the cell app then if you report it on the cell phone boards the devlopers sometimes see the problems and fixes come along sooner that.  Especially if there is a thread with a lot of the same problem.

I reported this issue to eBay yesterday morning but the problem is still not fixed. Better not try to punish sellers for not uploading tracking information in a timely manner.

Same - iPhone app, latest version. Taking now twice the amount of time as normal to ship my packages - come on eBay, take care of this!

I have the same problem with 2 out of 3 sales yesterday, purchased shipping label from ebay and shipped all within 24 hours and they still do not show up.  I just pray I do not get a "defect" for this since it is certainely not my fault and not MY "defect".  It is really tough being a seller sometimes and this sort of problem brings undue stress into my life.

Hi,
You should be seeing "this system is currently unavailable" when you click on the eBay tracking screen. eBay knows there is and has been a problem.
I've sent eBay messages to my buyers with their USPS tracking number and the direct USPS website tracking link. I've also screen captured the USPS package transit screen and attached that image to the customer's message. It's all I can do and its proof to the customer their package was handled on time and is transit to them.

Same here .. still no working ... it is ridiculous , with all the money we pay ebay for running a business and problem been ignored unless 1000 complains arrive to the main chair up there .. frustrating situations

Happened to me a couple of times in the past week, Have to call eBay to explain what's going on otherwise they'll ding you for non-compliance with whatever shipping time you have arranged. I imagine the phone call is useless (as most calls to eBay customer non-service are) and I will probably still get dinged for the "failure to ship on time" flags these issues will cause. Get ready for hours on the phone with someone who speaks broken English, BUT yet has a common name like Robert or Richard or Steve etc.....

Just to keep this issue current in glitchy events  discussion thread, 

Still no thread response (or did I miss it ?) from eBay regarding the tracking system not working properly.  More details...  on the shipping label management screen, under package status, that information appears accurate.

However, a recent shipment, when I click on the actual USPS tracking number (in the management screen) , the additional window message says We're unable to show the shipping status at this time. Please try again later. 

I've been trying again later, on this item, since I shipped on 7-27.   I hope this glitch is contained to just this one item. 

At the USPS website, the package is IN transit, with all the appropriate location updates.

Customer was messaged to track his package using the USPS website.

Yes- this has happened to me as well. I contacted customer service and they do know that this is an issue and said will be resolved in 20-30 days!!
