Today I went to print a shipping label and encounter 2 errors.
1. When I clicked on Edit to update Package details, the Package details page only showed part of the "e" on the Save button. The rest of the button was covered by Hazardous materials information.
2. When I clicked on Edit to update Shipping service I selected USPS. USPS Priority Mail was the default. I clicked on the radio button for USPS Ground Advantage. There was NO button such as Save. The only way to exit the Edit was to click on the X at the top of the Choose shipping service page. The Ship your order page still showed the default USPS Priority Mail selected. So to print a label, I either had to drive 5 miles to the US Post Office to purchase a USPS Ground Advantage label or pay an extra $2.82 to print a USPS Priority Mail label on eBay.
The plethora of programming errors on eBay has me close to stop selling here. I made my living as a programmer at IBM, and all these technical issues are unacceptable!

Hi @somanypostcards . You're using the website, correct? If so I strongly suggest clicking the "switch to advanced shipping" link on the top right of the page. Do that, then come back if you're still having problems.
For reference, here's the difference between the simplified page (with alllllll the extra clicks to edit) and the advanced page (where you can edit everything on one screen).
Also, I tested the basic shipping page and do not see the problems you're having. Is it possible you changed your browser's page zoom and that's causing the overlap?
Actually, I believe that's exactly what's happening. When I zoom in a lot (much more than standard) I can mimic the overlap issue.

I don't know why you are trying to 'save' and I've NEVER seen a 'save' button- just click 'print/buy' (whatever it says) after filling in size/weight and choosing carrier type.
I just checked again- there is NO save button.
Also, are you scrolling down to the bottom? the 'hazardous' thing floats up if you don't.

Yes, clicking on "Switch to advanced shipping" works. I don't know why eBay sent me to the Ship you order page with Edit buttons for Shipping details, Package details, and Shipping service. I'd never seen that page before today, and it does have the errors I mentioned above which eBay needs to fix!

I revised my above post @somanypostcards where I mimicked your overlap issue. It's caused by page zoom being non-standard (zoomed in more than the average user). That's always going to cause issues like that on pretty much every website. Websites are only optimized to zoom in so much before you start running into issues.
As for why you got flipped from advanced to basic shipping, that I can't answer, maybe clicked a link without realizing it, but at least now you know how to get back.
